DENAFRIPS 12th FPGA Firmware Update /Users Feedback

Greetings!

We have been working tirelessly, putting in tremendous efforts and extraordinary hours (>12hrs a day) to assist the customers ever since the release of the Ares II/Enyo DAC FPGA Firmware Update. We received no less than 500 FPGA Firmware Update Requests so far!).

While the FPGA Firmware Update Project is taking a lot of our resources, it is definitely encouraging and rewarding at the same time.

Several customers told us that they couldn't believe what they hear. The amazing DENAFRIPS Ares II / Enyo DAC just sounded a lot better. Fantastic isn't it?

Let's put it bluntly. We have to up our game to stay relevant in the market. The 12th FPGA update is one of the ways to keep the existing customers happy, and potentially bring us more new & returning customers - as the words spread around in the audiophile community.

We are here for an honest, long term business with integrity - as we learn our ways.

Thank you for your continued support, we remain forever grateful!

James updated the Ares II firmware, here's what he thinks:

Here is a quick system desc...

  • Dedicated 20A circuit

  • Three 8 foot additional grounding rods

  • Furman Elite Power Conditioner

  • Source: JRiver Media Center on a Win10 Home Theater PC

  • Amps: AVA SET120, AVA Ultralinear Tube, Marantz PM8006

  • DACs: Denafrips Ares ll, Music Hall 25/3 Tube, RME Adi2, Teac

  • Speakers: ZU Dirty weekend 6, Klipsch RP8000F, Klipsch RPM600 (2)

  • Sub Klipsch

Red = Main Room Current Setup

The reflashed Ares ll (with the 12th Annv. FPGA Firmware) easily out performs the rest of the DACs I own. Since the reflash it is a perfect balance of smooth warmth coupled with perfect musical detail. The small nuances it brought out in Beth Hart and Diana Krall's voices brought them right into the room, full engagement from a listening standpoint.

Thank you for the upgrade, I am impressed by the results and your commitment to customer service and the hobby/lifestyle we all love. Credit: James C. @ USA
