A shelf only means something if things get left off.
Every distributor turns things down. We are printing ours, with the reasons, and with what happened afterwards where our answer changed. That list says more about our judgement than the catalogue does.

The one that cost us most
In 2024 we ended our best-selling relationship.
It was profitable and popular and we could have carried it for another decade without anybody objecting. We stopped because it was no longer the best thing we could put in front of someone at that price, wrote about why publicly, and lost sales over it. A distributor who will never say no is a catalogue with a phone number.
