Every change we have made to this site, corrections included. The corrections stay here permanently. Removing an embarrassing one later would defeat the point of keeping a log at all.
Corrected how we describe DDP
The site said the price shown included import duty and tax. It does not. DDP is a fee, calculated from your country's VAT rate, and it is now stated that way everywhere it appears.
Preowned and clearance stock now says so
Nine preowned and three clearance products were shown exactly like new stock, on cards, in the systems and in the tools. Every one now carries its condition wherever its price appears.
Fixed the brand on fifty-four products
Fifty-four products carried no brand at all and LAiV appeared under two spellings. Separately, six preowned listings were labelled DENAFRIPS when five are Soundaware and one is Kinki Studio.
Reversed the buying order: power first, network last
The site used to say a network switch was the highest return per dollar. It now says power at the wall comes first, because it is the only pillar that improves every other box you own. The old claim has been removed rather than softened.
We call it a system, not a chain
Audiophiles say system. We were saying chain, which described a signal path, and stopped being accurate the moment power moved to the front. The eight parts are pillars now.
